NEW SNOOPY LICENSE PLATE NOW AVAILABLE! PROCEEDS SUPPORT MUSEUMS LIKE OURS!
For the first time ever, California drivers can order an official Snoopy license plate at www.snoopyplate.com.
Each plate will feature a reproduction of an original Snoopy drawing by PEANUTS creator Charles M. Schulz. Snoopy will be doing his happy dance, probably in anticipation of a ride on one of our historic trains.
Sequential plates are just $50. Personalized plates are $98. Once 7,500 applications have been received, the DMV will put the plates into production and, voilà, the Snoopy license plate and the museum grant program are ours!
The proceeds support museums throughout the state, from Redding to San Diego, and from Santa Barbara to Truckee, through a new grant program. For small history museums like the Western Railway Museum, this program has the potential to be a game changer. But it only happens when 7,500 people apply.
The good news is that we’ve already collected 4,800 applications, or nearly 2/3 the number required. So don’t hesitate!
